Blue Dove Foundation Executive Director Joins NAMI FaithNet Advisory Group

Gabby Leon Spatt, the executive director of the Blue Dove Foundation is joining the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ FaithNet Advisory group. In this role, Gabby will be a Jewish voice on the Advisory Community and share insight into the mental health conversation in the Jewish community around the country.

“We are delighted to have Gabby join the NAMI FaithNet Advisory Group. It is important to us when offering resources to our NAMI members and their faith communities, we offer insight and views from the Jewish community. Whether the NAMI member is someone living with a mental health diagnosis or a caregiver, we need them to know we recognize faith as an important part of who they are. We also want Jewish faith communities across the country to fully embrace families and individuals impacted by mental illness,” shared Doug Beach, NAMI FaithNet’s Advisory Group chair.

NAMI FaithNet is an interfaith resource network of NAMI members, friends, clergy and congregations of all faith traditions who wish to encourage faith communities who are welcoming and supportive of persons and families living with mental illness.
