What if you could bake bread once a week, every week? What if the smell of fresh baking bread could turn your house into a home? And what if the act of making the bread―mixing and kneading, watching and waiting―could heal your heartache and your emptiness, your sense of being overwhelmed? It can.

Kickoff Mental Health Awareness Month this May by joining BBYO on Demand, the Blue Dove Foundation and speaker and four-time award-winning author of Braided: A Journey of a Thousand Challahs, Beth Ricanati, MD, for a live virtual self-care Challah making community gathering.

Friday, May 1
1:00 pm EST / 10:00am PST

This program will focus on connecting with our mental health while following along with Beth while she demos her Challah recipe as she shares how this thousands-year-old ritual connects to our everyday self-care and mental health.

REGISTER NOW FOR YOUR SPOT

You are welcome to listen in or join us for hands-on Challah making in your own kitchen.
The ingredients list will be shared in your registration confirmation email.

According to NAMI.org, 1 in 5 US adults experience a mental illness.
Given the current crisis in the world, this program is offered free of charge and is a community gathering contribution to the global response. We believe bringing Jewish ritual and mental health together can support our community.
